Dear Colleagues,

This is another interesting and exciting Academic edition of The NOUN SCHOLAR, a journal of the Faculty of Arts. This edition is especially cherished, as it is in honour of our dear Senior Colleague who is retiring from active government service. Different colleagues have contributed to this edition to make for the quality we see in this fourth edition, and we welcome you all on board as we undertake this intellectual voyage.

This edition includes titles like Exegetical Study of 2 Timothy 3: 16-17: Invigorating Scriptural Inspiration in the 21st Century Churches by Abel Aor Inyaregh, L’enseignement en ligne: un outil indispensable pour la redynamisation de l’apprentissage du français au Nigeria à l’ère du post- covid by Doris Obieje and Casimir Houenon; Is the Human Being Incurably Religious? A question asked by Philip S. Tachin, PhD. An article in French follows: Les Faits Historiques Narrativises Dans Quand on Refuse on Dit non D’Ahmadou Kourouma: Une Lecture Intertextuelle, written by Iorvaa Peverga Sai, PhD. Miracle Ajah, PhD & Michael N. Nwoko’s article 5. Religion as Freedom, Unity and Ideology in National Development in Nigeria comes up next. The paper by Elochukwu Afoka, Between the Nigerian State and Non- State Actors in the Raging Insecurity in the Nation: A Phenomenological Study of Force and Dialogue Options for Peaceful Resolution comes next.

This is followed by a very concise research report: Communication Strategies for COVID-19 Prevention in Nigeria: Towards Combating Factors Responsible for Vaccine Hesitancy in Lagos and Oyo States by Iyabode O. A. Nwabueze, Joy Eyisi, Michael Ushe, Elkanah Ndie, Kahar Wahab Sarumi, Jummai Lucy Jibrin, Murtala Abdus-Salam Ajani, Ibrahim Garba Gwammaja and Elochukwu Afoka. Jummai Lucy Jibrin comes up with Parameological Exploration of Francophone Literary Texts: An Example of Calixthe Beyala, while for Felix Gbenoba it is the study of The Woman of the Environment: An Eco-critical analysis of Onyemelukwe’s Beyond the Boiling Point. Parameters and Lexical Divergence: A Study of Hausa Sign Language by Professor Lawan Danladi Yalwa and Ibrahim Garba Gwammaja, PhD comes next, while The Role of Holy Quran in Guiding Mankind: Education of an Individual Muslim as a Case Study by Dr. Muhammad Amaechi Bin Ali follows and Ethical Implications of In-Vitro Fertilisation and Embryo Transfer: Africa in Context by Helen Titilola Olojede paper from one Philosophy expert in the Faculty conclude the articles of this Special Edition of the journal. We do not need to emphasize the richness of this journal. Rather we, invite you to join us for your reading pleasure.
